# rClient Rewards

## How the reward mechanism works

When rClient successfully connects to the **MQTT** (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport), it indicates that the rClient is online and actively participating in the network, earning a reward of **10 points** per hour. In the event that the MQTT is not functioning, rewards will instead be based on the ping feature.
